CENIT 9 months figures at the previous year’s level

Stuttgart, November 3rd, 2016 - After nine months, CENIT AG was able to slightly increase its sales. The company recorded more significant sales growth in its own software (+ 6%) and third-party software (+ 13.3%).

During the first nine months, CENIT group generated sales revenues of EUR k 90,319 (prior year: EUR k 89,424/1.0%). Sales revenues in CENITs consulting and services segment decreased by -12.9% to EUR k 33,538 (prior year: EUR k 38,505). Sales of third-party software rose by approx. 13.3% to EUR k 44,964 (prior year: EUR k 39,695). Sales proceeds from CENIT’s proprietary software increased from EUR k 11,027 to EUR k 11,687 (6.0%) as well.

The gross yield (operating output less cost of materials) amounted to EUR k 55,516 (prior year: EUR k 56,762), representing a decrease of -2.2%. CENIT achieved EBITDA of EUR k 9,244 (prior year: EUR k 9,203/0.5%) and EBIT of EUR k 7,519 (prior year: EUR k 7,633/-1.5%). Results per share were EUR 0.64 (prior year: EUR 0.66).

Orders Development
During the first nine months, the group-wide order intake totaled EUR k 84,520 (prior year: EUR k 87,774). On 30 September 2016, orders in hand amounted to EUR k 30,759 (prior year: EUR k 33,193).

Asset and Financial Situation
The enterprise has no liabilities in relation to credit institutions, either of a short-term or long term nature. On the balance-sheet date, equity capital totaled EUR k 37,768 (31 Dec. 2015: EUR k 39,843), accounting for an equity ratio of 58.6% (31 Dec. 2015: 59.6%). On the balance-sheet date, bank deposits and liquid assets totaled EUR k 31,179 (31 Dec. 2015: EUR k 33,941). The operative cash flow was EUR k 6,737 (prior year: EUR k 8,594).

Employees
On 30 September 2016, CENIT group employed 616 staff (prior year: 632). Group-wide personnel costs for the reporting period were EUR k 35,928 (prior year: EUR k 36,600).

Outlook
For the current year, the CENIT Group is still anticipating a sales growth by 5%. On the whole, CENIT is anticipating a high single-digit rise in earnings (EBIT).
