3DEXP: STRUCTURAL Performance ENGINEER ESSENTIALS

SIMULIA011 SIMULIA
Course ID SIMULIA011
Type Seminar
Target

In this course, you will deepen your knowledge of the finite element method and learn how to deal confidently with nonlinear problems such as plasticity, hyperelasticity and contact. Participants will learn how to prepare and set up qualified and robust finite element models. Furthermore it is trained how to evaluate simulation results in a meaningful way.

Target group

The course is intended for design engineers with experience in the application of numerical methods as well as simulation users who want to investigate complex assemblies for nonlinear load-bearing behavior.

Requirement

Basic knowledge of the finite element method (FEM) is helpful - an affinity for numerical methods is required. This course is a stand alone one – no other courses are needed as prerequisite.
