Software Development

What to Expect: You will develop, test, and document software systems and products together in agile teams from infrastructure to database development. Quality and the sustainable reliability of your work are our top priorities.

What You Bring: A degree or equivalent professional qualification, experience in Java, JavaScript, or C#, curiosity about new technologies, and a passion for creative, high-quality solutions. 

Sales

What to expect: you will take responsibility for the revenue of a customer segment, manage accounts, acquire new clients, and build trusted customer relationships. You will sell software products and consulting services, coordinate resources and support the creation of proposals and pricing strategies. 

What You Bring: 
A degree in IT, manufacturing, or business; industry and process knowledge, strong networking skills, empathy, confident presence and a collaborative team spirit. 

IT Consulting

What to Expect: You will advise clients on optimizing their business processes, analyze existing systems, develop concepts, and support the implementation of new solutions. Workshops, training sessions, and pre-sales activities may also be part of your role. 

What You Bring: A degree in IT, manufacturing, or business; strong IT affinity; solid process and system understanding; enjoyment of client interaction; and a collaborative team spirit. 

IT Support

What to Expect: You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, updates, and operation of IT infrastructures and applications. As the first point of contact, you support customers with technical issues and take on project-related tasks such as transition projects. 

What You Bring: A completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a degree in IT; knowledge of operating systems, application servers, and databases; ITIL experience; strong problem-solving skills; and a customer-oriented mindset. 

Project Management

What to Expect: You will manage IT projects end-to-end – from planning and resource coordination to audits, reporting, and monitoring. You will drive new initiatives and support the implementation of innovative solutions. 

What You Bring: Experience in managing complex IT projects; knowledge of project management methods; a structured way of working; a confident demeanor; and strong team spirit.

Our Recruiting Process

We want to make your journey to CENIT as simple and transparent as possible. Every application is reviewed carefully and individually, in close coordination with the specialist departments. What matters most to us is getting to know you as a person and finding out if we are a good match. So be authentic and open, just the way you are. 

1. Your application

  • Online via our job portal 

  • Required documents: CV or alternatively your XING/LinkedIn profile, plus certificates if available 

  • Cover letter: optional 

2. Document Review

Our HR team reviews your documents in coordination with the specialist department. 

3. Getting to Know Each Other

  • Initial professional exchange (optional): with the specialist department, approx. 30 minutes
  • First interview: specialist department & HR, approx. 1–1.5 hours
  • Second interview: specialist department & HR, approx. 1–1.5 hours

Whether the interviews take place virtually via MS Teams or on-site will be agreed individually during the scheduling process. 

4. Hiring and onboarding

After a successful process, you will receive digitally your contract. This comes with the title: Welcome to CENIT! We will support you from the beginning and make sure that you feel integrated from day one.
