V-ZUG Ltd, a mid-size company with approx. 1,600 employees, recognized at an early stage that times were changing and has devoted the past several years to digitalize its operations at all levels and along the entire value chain. An important piece of the puzzle was the bidirectional integration of the platforms deployed at V-ZUG Ltd: the 3DEXPERIENCE platform by Dassault Systèmes and SAP S/4HANA.

SAP S/4HANA® introduction

V-ZUG has been using 3DEXPERIENCE® with CATIA V6 for several years.
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform was coupled with the existing ERP system by means of a proprietary development. In the course of the SAP S/4HANA introduction the ERP integration had to be rebuilt.
Clocking of the 3DEXPERIENCE-SAP integration implementation in the tight time window of the SAP S/4HANA project.

Future ERP/PLM optimizations

Open integration architecture to support future ERP/PLM optimizations.

In taking on this complex task, we decided to collaborate with CENIT because the company has been a premium partner of Dassault Systèmes and SAP for years, offering professional solutions for platform integration. Also, the CENIT team’s process competency was obvious to us right from the beginning. For real investment security, what’s decisive is not just deploying standard products – you also need to have access to methods and processes that have been tried and proven on the ground.
