With the introduction of the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation, preconfigured templates are available that can be implemented quickly and easily. The templates have been developed within the framework of use cases and are based on years of experience from numerous successful customer projects. Efficient & flexible organization of engineering processes

With the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation we offer you a scalable and risk reduced overall package that supports you in ensuring an efficient and flexible organization of your engineering processes. The SAP Engineering Control Center (SAP ECTR) is the focus of this product, which enables the integration of your CAD authoring systems, such as CATIA, Siemens NX, SOLIDWORKS® or EPLAN, into SAP. With the introduction of SAP ECTR, you also lay the technological foundation for a later, simple changeover to SAP S/4HANA® already in the engineering phase.

The spectrum of SAP ECTR is diverse, because functionally extended and configured for your business processes, the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation offers you support in process optimization, for example by networking collaboration and visualization functions, and in general decision making, through improved data utilization in all areas of the company.

• Process efficiency and flexibility
  With the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation we offer you exactly the process-oriented and flexible basis that your company and your employees need in their daily work with SAP ECTR.
  The SAP Engineering Control Center is the comfortable working environment for engineers and enables the cross-disciplinary integration of the relevant authoring tools. At the same time, SAP ECTR as an "intelligent spectacle" into SAP enables all employees who deal with product data in company processes to use technical data for their tasks. With the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation, the implementation can be enriched with other SAP and CENIT products in the areas of collaboration, visualization, process control, validation and verification.
• Future viability
  The first step in engineering towards SAP S/4HANA is already being taken with the introduction of SAP ECTR with the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation.
  SAP ECTR is the future-proof engineering platform of SAP.
  If implemented in your existing ERP Business Suite (SAP® ECC), the subsequent switch to SAP S/4HANA will only require minor adjustments to SAP ECTR.
• Risk minimization
  A critical issue in any system implementation is the replacement of existing systems and the migration of inventory data. For many scenarios, we offer the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation packages for process-guided data migration, wherever possible also at a fixed price.
• User acceptance
  The acceptance of new SAP PLM solutions depends largely on the user experience during system use. Ensuring trouble-free operation is therefore a central task. For this reason, a project-accompanying transition and the support of an experienced operating team are at the core of the CENIT SAP PLM Foundation.
