Presentation with Wow Factor

CENIT at Automatica 2016 (Munich, Germany)

Published 07/05/2016 | updated 07/29/2022

For automation experts, the Automatica Expo is the place to be. It’s a place where you see engineers sigh and purchasing agents dream.

Many of the visitors are already ‘tech geeks’, and in moments like these they are completely under the spell of the high-tech experience. It is for this reason that Cenit considered it a good idea to present strong images to support rational propositions. Our software platform FASTSUITE Edition 2 had quite a few ‘wow’ effects to offer.

Here are some images.

And have a look in our overview video.

One Platform – Endless Options
At the Automatica 2016, we demonstrated the outstanding performance of our Digital Factory software FASTSUITE Edition 2 at two parallel locations. “One Platform – Endless Options” was the presentation that visitors could admire at our CENIT booth in Hall 5. A perfect example of this endless range of options was right there in front of our visitors, since we had set up robots from FANUC, Kawasaki and Yaskawa in our demo area. The message came across loud and clear: Our software is vendor-independent and compatible with all standard systems.

Info point at FANUC

In Hall 6, we were on site as a partner on FANUC’s “Yellow Highway”. At our info point, a robotic arm held up a 70-inch monitor showcasing our software. The wow factor herein: our developers used the Digital Factory solution to implement a selection of applications from other “Yellow Highway” partners. That means that the display screen showed an application in the FASTSUITE Edition 2 simulation environment, and a few feet away you could see the actual machine in real life, going through its programmed steps precisely as displayed digitally. This was a clear demonstration of our core sales proposition: FASTSUITE Edition 2 supports virtually any production technology.
