Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE^® platform provides manufacturing companies with a state-of-the-art web-based platform for innovation management, engineering, cross-company collaboration and business processes – usable On-Premise, as well as in public and private clouds.

Dassault Systèmes itself also speaks of the "Business Experience Platform", in which all departments and disciplines together digitally plan and specify the product and its production. Based on this, the product and its manufacturing process can be multidisciplinary optimized and virtually tested, to ensure quality and required properties. Ultimately, the "digital twin" offers a realistic virtual "EXPERIENCE" of the product and the production processes as well for internal purposes as for the customer.

What exactly is the 3DEXPERIENCE^® platform?

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform offers a single solution portfolio for the described challenges. Dassault Systèmes' leading authoring systems and industry solutions, as well as authoring systems from other manufacturers, are deeply integrated on the platform. The pursued approach here reaches far beyond the usual file-based administration. The platform has a central data and process model to consistently merge and securely manage the specifications of all disciplines.

Operation On-Premise or in the cloud

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is available either as an On-Premise solution or in the cloud.

On-premise installation can be performed on the customer's servers or alternatively on the external infrastructure of a provider (IaaS). The advantage of an On-Premis solution lies in the higher flexibility to adapt customer-specific requirements and business processes, as well as the possibility of integration with further IT systems.

In order to accelerate the introduction, especially for medium-sized companies, CENIT has developed a best-practice-introduction concept for the initial project phase with preconfigured 3DEXPERIENCE system and fixed service costs, which we call "Ready-to-Grow". On request, CENIT will also take over the operation of the 3DEXPERIENCE solution in an IaaS-environment after implementation.

Dassault Systèmes provides customers an immediately usable preconfigured 3DEXPERIENCE system in the public or private cloud, as an alternative variant of use. Customers can introduce this variant in no time and use it productively. And the system is regularly updated with the latest SW updates, so that you don't have to worry about hardware, software or the operation of the solution.
